LETTER: Wonderful way to support charity

Shooting Star CHASE is one of 19 charities, both local and national, who are selling their 2013 range of Christmas cards at Horsham Museum in The Causeway from now until Friday, 20th December, Monday to Saturday, from 10am till 4.45pm.

Other charities include the Dame Vera Lynn Trust, St Catherine’s Hospice, Parkinson’s UK, Samaritans, Winston’s Wish and Save the Children.

The shop is staffed entirely by volunteers and buying charity cards at the museum is a wonderful way of supporting your favourite charity.

Shooting Star CHASE is the children’s hospice charity supporting local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday. This support is provided free of charge at home or at two home-from-home children’s hospices at Christopher’s at Guildford and Shooting Star House at Hampton.

Diaries for 2014, Christmas wrapping paper and gift tags are also available at the Horsham Museum.
