Grease is the word as schools join forces for a sell-out production

February saw the combined Millais and Forest School production of Grease at the Capitol Theatre in Horsham.

After months of planning, preparation and hours of rehearsals the pupils played to sell-out audiences on all three nights.

Leon Nettley, Headteacher of Millais School said on the closing night that, “Our two schools have a long history of working together on productions and this was one of the best joint school productions I have ever seen.”

Songs were performed by the principal actors and were delivered at a level to rival that heard in a West End musical.

“A massive thank you was delivered to cast, crew and production team by Forest School Headteacher, Siobhan Denning.

After a week of outstanding performances and standing ovations we all look forward to next year’s production.
