'Flawless' effort

I AM writing in response to your article (August 13) on the Littlehampton Community School Steel Band's tour of Paris.

I would like to say how immensely proud I and the other parents involved in the trip are of all the kids.

Their final performance of the week at Disneyland was flawless.

They were great ambassadors for both the school and the town of Littlehampton.

I would like to say a very big thank-you to all the parents who have supported the band, helping with fund-raising, etc., and to the members of the general public whose generous donations helped get us there, and a very big thank-you to the band members, who made it a most enjoyable and memorable trip.
