Double yellow lines would help

I have been held up many times in Birkdale due to the school run.

A fairly simple solution would be to have double yellow lines on one side of the road only.

This would then allow for two way traffic at all times.

Whether the powers that be could possibly consider such a thing, let alone enforce it, would be very interesting to find out.
