I’m sure his granddaughters have in the past been known to fill their nappies whilst out for a stroll, but have been allowed to live.

Hide AdUnfortunately, a dog’s anatomy does not lend itself to a nappy, so our canine companions have to rely on the responsible behaviour of their owners - some of whom are sadly lacking in this particular respect.
To my mind the villains of the piece are the councillors and officers of Rother District Council, who have promised a clampdown on dog fouling, but who to date seem to have done nothing.
I walk my dog (and clean up after him) regularly in the ‘poo ridden’ areas of our town, but have yet to see a warden/PCSO/police officer on ‘Poo Patrol’.
Perhaps, in addition to punishing the irresponsible dog owners, a ‘cull’ of councillors at the May elections might be the answer!
