Children enjoy sporty start to summer at Horsham church

For the 5th consecutive year Brighton Road Baptist Church ran a Sports Week during the first week of the school summer holidays. 59 young people aged from 11-14 played Basket ball, dodgeball, softball, handball, ultimate Frisbee and Danish Longball throughout the week at Millais School and a lot of fun was had by all. In addition there was also a games-in-the-park night where parents and friends could join in. A fun awards ceremony was held at the church on the final night when the Sanctuary was full to capacity with parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and friends to enjoy the awards ceremony, see photographs taken throughout the week and enjoy free hot dogs. With the Sports Week becoming increasingly popular year by year it is likely that another will be held again next year.
