The “little grey cells” have been whizzing around like mad whilst competing in the inter-home quiz run by Tracey Turner of “Pastimes Activities”. 12 homes compete in this annual quiz which is great fun, family and friends are encouraged to join in and help with the answers especially when it comes to modern music.

Topics range from Charles Dickens’ novels characters to national flags.

Activities Manager Liz Smith says “interactive activities are so important to individuals living in a care home, it keeps them mentally stimulated, alert and it is great fun to be a part of a team and not to be isolated”.

So fingers crossed for next year, you never know we might be asked to go on University Challenge (Silver edition).
