Be patient, passengers

I WAS disappointed that your article in the Battle Observer on 24/01 appeared so critical of Southeastern, particularly in relation to the previous Friday, when buses had to be provided.

The accident on the A21 was to blame for the lack of buses at Tunbridge Wells initially, but you buried that information, rather unfairly, right at the end of the article. Many people would have given up reading before then, I’m sure!

There is little the engineers can do to stabilise the landslip effectively until it stops raining - ask any engineer or geologist!

Be patient.
