LETTER: I am not against Premier Inn
Contrary to the opinion attributed to me in your Lewes Edition of October 14, I am not against the business of the Premier Inn, Lewes, or its design.
I am against the brass finish lamps on the outside which have faded to aluminium already and certainly against the outside speakers on the fascias front and back of the Aqua restaurant, which in one case point in the direction of the sheltered housing across the Friars Walk Car Park, and in the other point straight at the offices opposite.
Last weekend these were playing loud amplified music, which I contend is not wanted in the conservation area.
I would be grateful if this could be made clear.
