LETTER: Care home was exceptional

There has been a lot of negative media coverage, on a local and national level, in recent times regarding the standard of care provided to the elderly in professional homes.

Can we state that our recent experience of Bethune Court (Boscobel Road) is the absolute reverse. The standard of care, attention, nutrition, information and interaction was excellent throughout our (late) mother’s eight-month residence.

Every member of staff was faultless and we tender them our fullest thanks. Their professionalism and cooperation with other agencies was superb.
