Amber Rudd's party is to blame for cuts to local services not Hastings Borough Council

From: Richard Alan Ward, Charles Road, St Leonards

Our MP is not only trying to blame Hastings Borough Council for the threats to local services caused by her own government’s austerity, she is also trying to claim credit for the community-led campaign to save the Station Plaza Walk-in Centre.

The centre is threatened because of funding cuts by central government – nothing to do with Hastings Borough Council, which has also had to cope with severe austerity measures imposed by Amber Rudd’s own party and for which local services and residents are suffering.
