Opening of Black Snow centre celebrated in Barnham

EXPERIENCED martial arts practitioners joined fledgling students to celebrate the opening of a new centre at Barnham.

The Black Snow Ninja and Samurai Martial Arts Centre held an all-day training seminar for its launch.

After a traditional Japanese opening ceremony and warm-up, students were put through their paces with a challenging assault course, followed by workshops which focused on variations of Ninja and Samurai techniques.

Sensei Paul Woodward, owner of the centre, in the Barnham Windmill Shopping Village, said: “We couldn’t have wished for a better day.

“We are really excited to be opening in Barnham – there’s so much potential here for everyone enjoy the activities we offer, developing ability, confidence, self-awareness and creativity.”
