One dead, one badly injured in crash
A 32-year-old man was killed in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning when his car hit a tree.
A woman passenger, 25, was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital with life threatening injuries after the accident in Nash Street, Golden Cross, at 2.30am.
Police said the black Renault Clio left the road. No other vehicle was involved.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
