Ninfield ablaze for bonfire celebrations
Local societies and drumming groups took part in a torch-lit procession made its way from the Green, along Manchester Road and Combe Lane and along the High Street to the Recreation Ground where the bonfire and fireworks display took place.
Ninfield members led the procession with their striking black and white phantom face paint and ghostly banner.

The weather stayed fine and dry and the Blacksmiths pub joined in the celebrations by holding a barbecue in its car park.
The Ninfield Society formed in 2009, holding its first big event in 2010. Since then it has gone from strength to strength.
