UP to four new seafront play areas are to be open to the public from June 2012.
The £175,000 project is funded by the Foreshore Trust, and Hastings Borough Council wants to get local adults and children involved in the design process.
The idea is for one main site, and two or three smaller sites to be constructed, although the actual locations and facilities provided are still open for discussion.
More definite plans will be discussed at the Foreshore Trust meeting on December 12.
Following this there will be a design consultation day on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
There are two questionnaires available for adults and children to complete, and information from these will be fed into the planning and design process.
Visit www.hastings.gov.uk/community_living/sports_recreation/play/#consultation, to complete the questionnaire by November 25, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a paper copy.
