The B2123 The Drove in Falmer is closed both ways this morning between the A27 Falmer Hill junction and the Bexhill Road junction, causing some disruption on the roads.

There are no reported incidents or delays along major roads across the south coast including the A27, M23 and M27.

Southern Rail is not reporting any problems, however buses will replace trains between Bexhill and Ashford International today, affecting services between London Victoria, Brighton, Eastbourne and Ore/Ashford International.

Elsewhere, there are no problems to report on Hovertravel or Brittany Ferries, thought there is a revised service today on the Wightlink service between Portsmouth and Fishbourne due to the Morrisons Great South Run.

Holidaymakers are warned of possible disruption to Mexico flights to and from London Gatwick Airport due to hurricane Patricia.

Passengers should check their status of their flight with their airline before travelling.

The Great South Run will take place in Portsmouth today, with up to 30,000 runners are expected to join the 10 mile route through the city.

The Met Office has not issued any weather warnings this weekend.

Sunday morning will see a chilly start with frost in places across the south coast, then a dry day with sunny spells.

The maximum temperature across the south will be around 13°C.

It will remain dry overnight with clear spells and light winds, leading to another cold night with a minimum temperature of 5°C.
