Mini-racers rev up for evening for trackside fun

Miniature motor racing is coming to North Bersted.

The Regis Racers will be reproducing the excitement of car racing in miniature.

Hot rods, saloons and bangers built to a 1/12th scale will be competing against each other as their enthusiastic owners aim to reach the finishing line first.

The radio-controlled vehicles will be using Jubilee Hall in Chalcraft Lane as their circuit.

The carpet oval track is sure to see plenty of thrills and skills.

The club has been set up by Bognor area residents Keith Dowsett, Mandy Penegar and their families and friends.

Its first session is from 7.30pm to 10.30pm tomorrow (Friday).

Drivers from other clubs will giving demonstrations.

Entry, racing and refreshments will be free on the night. The club will officially open on January 4 and run fortnightly.
