The Hastings and Rother Voluntary Association for the Blind (HRVAB) has launched its annual memories writing competition.
Entries are welcome from all adults, on the theme of treasured memories, and submissions should be 150 to 1,000 words long.
Judging the competition will be HRVAB Chair Brion Purdey, and the best entries will be published in an anthology.
There are two categories for entrants, adults with visual impairment, and adults with normal vision.
Entries should be sent by the closing date of September 12, along with name, contact details and category on a separate piece of paper, to: HRVAB Memories Competition, Healey House, 3 Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards on Sea TN38 0LQ.
