A man is wanted by police for sentencing for his part in running a cannabis factory in a flat in St Leonards.
Stephen Burt, 23, was convicted with Harry Shanks and Kyle Wilder of being concerned in the production of a Class B drug in May.
Officers had been called to a flat in London Road, St Leonards, on July 23 by firefighters after the hydroponics equipment set up by the men leaked water through the ceiling of the flat below.
Inside the men’s flat were 250 cannabis plants and an estimated £64,000 of cannabis.
Shanks, 29, of Marline Road, St Leonards, was jailed for 40 months and Wilder, 29, of no fixed address, was jailed for four years when they appeared at Lewes Crown Court on May 1.
Burt failed to appear in court to be sentenced and officers have been looking for him since then.
Detective Constable Julian Stokes said: “The other members of the gang were jailed in May but Burt did not answer his bail and we have been unable to find him.
“We need to arrest him so that he can be sentenced for his part in the drug operation.
