Man suffers heart attack in Fairlight street

A man had to be rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack in the street.

Paramedics were called to the incident in Lower Waites Lane in Fairlight just before noon yesterday (Tuesday, November 17) after the man collapsed.

The man needed to be resuscitated by paramedics and the Kent, Surrey and sussex Air Ambulance was despatched.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the man suffered a cardiac arrest and was taken to the Conquest Hospital in a serious condition.
