Man attacked while walking home

A MAN was attacked while walking home.

The 58-year-old was assaulted in London Road, St Leonards last Wednesday (February 26) at around 10.45pm.

As he was nearing Pevensey Road someone shouted at him to hand over his money. He did not and was pushed over from behind, falling to the ground, sustaining a small cut to his right eyebrow and to the back of his right hand.

The suspect, who did not take anything, was white, aged in his mid-20s, and of medium build.

He wore an ash grey hooded top with the hood up, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and dark coloured trainers.
