Magistrates’ Court round-up

The following are court results for the Observer area from Hastings Magistrates’ Court from September 22 to September 24.

September 22:

Joshua Lambe (aged 33), of Penland Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to being in breach of a non-molestation order imposed by the court. The offence took place at Bexhill on April 17, when he phoned and verbally abused the victim. He was sentenced to a nine month conditional discharge.

Medadni Mahieldin (aged 48), from Albany Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle at Church Road, St Leonards, on September 29 2014 without insurance. He was fined £50 and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points.

September 23:

Tyrone Johnson (aged 24), of Hackney, London, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis at Hastings on September 4. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge.

Chelsea Mcguigan (aged 21), of Tuppeney Close, Hastings, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and driving without a licence or insurance. The offences took place at Tuppeney Close on May 8. She was fined £170, ordered to pay £150 compensation and disqualified until the test is passed.

Sabina Ziemann (aged 40), of London Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Gilbert Road, St Leonards, on August 22, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. The limit is 35 miligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. She gave a reading of 86mg. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for 16 months.

September 24:

Denim Graven (aged 29), from Poplar Close, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan vehicle at Hailsham on July 15 while disqualified and driving without insurance. He was fined £300 and sent to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 24 weeks.

Scott Merton (aged 24) of Fairmount Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to stealing meat, valued at £12, from Spar, St Leonards, on August 12 and tubs of whey protein, worth £87.98, from Holland and Barrett, in Bexhill, on August 11. He was fined a total of £40 and given a community order with a drug rehabilitation order requirement.
