Macmillan extends cancer service to Adur and Worthing
Team Up will offer those affected by cancer assistance with day-to-day activities by tapping into a registered volunteer network. Users will be able to select from a range of different tasks before choosing a volunteer to help out.
Karen Barford, Team Up community manager, said: “We know that if you’re affected by cancer – whether you’re a patient or a carer, things like everyday household chores or simply popping to the shops can be more of a struggle.
“That’s why we wanted to develop a free, easy-to-use service that can take care of some of these everyday tasks.”
