Lorry on fire in Hastings

Firefighters have just put out a lorry on fire in Hastings this afternoon (Thursday, December 17).

One East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service appliance from Bohemia Road was mobilised to Queens Road at around 3:15pm.

On arrival, crews confirmed that the brakes of a HGV had over heated.

Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews left the scene at about 3:50pm.
