A PUNK-ROCK band are hoping to break into the UK chart after signing a deal with an independent record label.
The Vindickers, a four-piece of musicians from the Hastings and St Leonards area, was formed in 2008 by frontman Jamie Joslyn and drummer Jay Maplesden.
Originally a covers band, they soon began to perform tracks written by Jamie, and began to work on their debut album Before the Fall, which was self-released in 2009.
The band’s current line-up is Jamie Joslyn, 32, guitar and vocals, Rob Wyatt, 24, guitar, Sam Smithers, 29, bass and vocals, and Jay Maplesden, 43, drums.
The band has recently been in talks with independent record label Timeline Music Group and will be officially signing with them this month.
As a result of this Before The Fall has been re-released and is available from Amazon, Play, and iTunes.
To promote this the band will be recording a music video for album opener These Love Songs Don’t Make Sense here in Hastings.
