A GLAMOUROUS granny contest, live music and a coconut shy are among the attractions at a fundraiser later this month.

The Hollington Oak Pub in St Leonards is staging the fun day on Saturday, June 25, in aid of the Oliver Curd Trust, which raises money to pay for holidays for terminally ill children, and the Hastings Ex Boxers Association.

A trio of bands are appearing, with the first due on stage at 3.30pm. Sam Calver, The Standard Lamps and Jamie Smart will all play sets alongside a stack of side shows.

Fortune teller Gypsy Rose Lee will be on hand to read people’s palms, while revellers will also get the chance to enjoy a bouncy castle, sumo suits, face painting and a cake stall.

There will also be a fashion show and a barbecue. Entry is free.
