The two white shelters, better know as the town’s stage by the sea, are among 16 buildings in the region to be named today (Tuesday, March 3) in the final list of the Royal Institute of British Architects South East Awards.

The design, by Flanagan Lawrence, was one of 42 entered in the region.

Other finalists named this afternoon include Worthing’s Splashpoint and the Chichester Festival Theatre.

The winner will be announced on April 23.
