Sarah Jayne, renowned as the UK and Europe’s number one Dolly Parton tribute act, will treat the crowds to the Dolly Parton Experience when she performs outside the Azur, Marina Pavillion, St Leonards 11.30-1pm (depending on the weather).

Sarah Jayne is giving the complimentary performance to raise awareness and funds for local charity Imagine Nation, which provides books to pre-school children in Hastings and St Leonards, The scheme encourages children to foster a love of reading and improve their future prospects. Imagine Nation is affiliated with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Sarah said: “We have been raising money for the Imagination Library for the past six years and have raised about £10,000. I portray Dolly with my costumes and wigs; I speak like Dolly and adopt her mannerisms, When I meet with her fans, the persona takes over and people talk to me as if I am Dolly. Some fans end up crying because it’s the closest they’ll ever get to meeting her. I’ve been lucky enough to meet Dolly a couple of times and she is lovely. Her entourage is huge but she is very real and sweet and even asked after my daughter Lucy Jayne, aged six.”
