A number of people were initially though to be in trouble, but when the lifeboat arrived it was found no-one was in immediate danger, and that the people involved had made it back to shore.

One lifeboat crew member was put ashore, and along with the Coastguard team, encouraged one person who was intoxicated out of the water and on to the promenade. Safety advice was given and person went on their way. All teams were then stood down.
