Lawnmower stolen from football club

A £4,000 lawnmower has been stolen from Pagham FC.

The large ride-on Countex mower was taken from the club's ground in Nyetimber Lane after thieves removed a fence panel to get into a locked shed.

The theft was discovered on March 17 but the break-in could have taken place up to eight days earlier.

Sergeant Danny West, of Bognor Regis police station, said: "Those responsible for the theft will either require storage for the lawnmower or will be making attempts to sell it on."

He can be contacted on 0845 60 70 999 with information about the burglary or the mower.
