Keane band members to make Christmas charity appearance

TWO members of Keane will be busking for charity in Priory Meadow today (Monday).

Tom Chaplin and Tim Rice-Oxley from the world famous band are making a special appearance at 1pm for local charity, Surviving Christmas.

Alison Freelander, chair of Surviving Christmas, said: “Surviving Christmas is a charity local to Hastings and Rother run by, and for, the community to give assistance to those in need and hope for those in despair.

“We are seeing an increasing number of referrals which means the charity needs more volunteers throughout the year, along with food, clothing and monetary donations.

“We’re extremely grateful to Tim Rice-Oxley and Tom Chaplin from Keane for giving up their time so generously and helping to raise this very local charity’s profile in this way.”
