An investigation is set to take place after fire and rescue teams were called to Rottingdean this morning (December 23).
A spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue service said teams were called at 6.27am to reports of a fire at a flat at The Green.
Three fire engines attended the incident and crews used breathing apparatus and a hose jet reel to extinguish the flames.
