We lead on a positive story for the town after it was revealed business in the area voted to turn the town centre into a Business Improvement District (BID). This will see £1 million invested into local projects over the next five years. We run a double-page feature looking at what this will mean for Hastings town centre and how people have reacted to the news.

Other news includes one man’s bid to have the iconic Hastings Pier immortalised in Lego, anger over an unjust car park fine and a brilliant first Ofsted report for West St Leonards Primary Academy.

We run two pages of photographs from the Remembrance Day service in Alexandra Park, pictures and report from when a group of World War Two veterans gathered to watch an emotional screening of the film ‘Return of the Liberators’ and another page of photographs from the conclusion on the Hastings Storytelling Festival.
