All fingers and toes must be crossed for the fine weather to continue for Iden Fete tomorrow, Saturday 27th July. Gates open at 1 pm.

Entries for the Companion Dog Show are on the field at 1 pm.

The Grand Draw first prize is £250.

During the afternoon you may participate in all sorts of things: stalls, side-shows, face painting, children’s amusements, hot food all day, licensed bar, children’s bar, refreshments and probably ice-creams.

At the same time there is a massive Boot Fair on the park. Stands are pre-booked only on 280 467, so I suppose, in theory, you have time to phone today, but they may already have allocated all available tables.

Nothing else is so important in Iden this week. The money raised goes to help the organisations of the village throughout the coming year.
