Hunt still on for missing Bognor Regis woman

Police seeking information on missing woman Sandra Hall have released a new CCTV image of her on a train.

Officers issued a new image of Sandra and revealed she got the train to Barnham and was last spotted walking towards Lake Lane and Barnham Lane.

Sandra, 56, went missing on Sunday, February 3, when she left her home in Gunwin Court, Aldwick, near Bognor, at 10.20am to go to church.

Inspector Nick Bowman said: “We know that Sandra didn’t turn up at church but she got a bus to Bognor railway station and got on a train to Barnham. This image is of her on the train.

“We and her family are concerned for her and are appealing to anyone who may have seen her to contact police. It is very out of character for Sandra to be out of touch with her family for so long. We have dedicated search teams out looking for Sandra in the local area.”

Sandra’s daughter, Emma Cullingford, said: “My mum suffers from depression but she has touched the lives of so many people she has met or befriended over the years in West Sussex, Lancaster and Cumbria.

“She is a generous, loving spirit always prepared to go that extra mile to help and support others. She is deeply loved by her family, who hope that she remains safe and can re-start her life with the care and support she needs to start flourishing again. We just want her back.”

Sandra was last seen wearing knee-length black and white tweed coat, a scarf and black hat.

If you have seen Sandra or know of her whereabouts, contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Leeson.
