Hundreds of pieces on show at Battle and District Art Show

AROUND 300 paintings have gone on show at Battle Memorial Hall for the 2012 Battle and District Arts Group Summer Exhibition.

The judges faced a tough task of picking their favourites from the eclectic selection of watercolours, pastels, prints and acrylics which adorned the hall walls.

The Presidents Award went to Chris Harding for his acrylic painting ‘The Tale of the Ancient Mariner’ whilst the Judges Postcards Award went to Tracey Brown for her watercolour ‘Eclectic Bexhill’.
