Hundreds enjoy sun at annual Pett Show

The event, on the recreation ground, is the biggest on the village calendar.

Louise Bowles said: “Sussex Brass played and the village choir entertained the large crowds whilst the children enjoyed a bounce on the bouncy castle.

“There was a chance to soak the brave volunteers in the stocks and everyone enjoyed traditional fete stalls.

“Pett W.I refreshed everybody with their gorgeous cakes and teas throughout the afternoon.

“Thirty eight dogs took part in various classes at the popular dog show organised by Lesley Morris.

“So all in all a good time was had by all.”
