Brave and fearless firewalkers are invited to tread some hot coals and raise funds for local charities.
The event, organised by the Sara Lee Trust in conjunction with St Michaels Hospice, will be held on Saturday, April 18 at The Hastings and Bexhill Rugby Football Club, Park Avenue.
Fundraising manager of the Sara Lee Trust, Maria Gonet, said: “This is an opportunity to challenge yourself to walk across a bed of burning coals while raising funds for the Sara Lee Trust and St Michael’s Hospice. Training will be provided on the night. Good fun to do with a group of friends or colleagues and, although you walk on the coals on your own, you will be able to cheer each other on.”
Maria says the event will also be a great evening for spectators with live music from Section 5 Drummers and Jiggery Pokery, a firework finale from Firework Connections and face painting. Licensed bar and snack food available.
It costs £10 to register; those taking part must commit to raising a minimum of £100.
Registration takes place from 6pm.
