Hospice islooking forsummer art entries

St Michael’s Hospice is looking for artists to exhibit and sell their work at the 16th Summer Art Exhibition in memory of Stuart Farndale.

The exhibition is being held on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June, between 10.30am-6pm at the Arthur Easton Centre, St Michael’s Hospice. Entrance will be £1, which will include a catalogue of all artist work.

With 16 years of history behind it, the Summer Art Exhibition is always a successful and worthwhile event.

Last year the exhibition raised £2,616 for the Hospice.

All artists are welcome to submit four framed paintings at £2 each and four unframed paintings at £1.50 each, with 20% of all sales going to the Hospice. The deadline for submissions is Friday June 19.

Since opening in 1987, the hospice has cared for more than 12,500 people with life-limiting illnesses in the Hastings and Rother area through a number of different services.

It is an independent charity that relies on local fund raising to keep going.
