St Michael’s Hospice, St Leonards on Sea, held its monthly coffee morning last weekend (Saturday June 6) drawing the crowds and raising £? for the charity.
The popular event, which is held on the first Saturday of the month, had plenty to offer bargain hunters with a range of stalls selling a variety of goods including books, DVD’S bric a brac, jewellery, clothes, linens, home-made cakes and jams, a range of plants and flowers, refreshments, tombola and raffle.
The Hospice coffee mornings are just one of many events organised and run by a dedicated team of volunteers from the Hastings and St Leonards Support Group, including Brenda and Jean (pictured) and Jean Banks, amongst others.
Chairman of the group, Brian Elcomb thanked everyone for supporting the events and said last month’s Spring Fayre, raised a whopping £10,381.87, which he said was “fantastic”.
The next coffee morning is July 4, 10.15am.
