Horsham Police to continue crackdown on vehicle crime
That was the message from officers as they spoke at last week’s annual meeting of the Horsham District Neighbourhood Watch Association.
Inspector Sarah Leadbeatter, from the police’s local Prevention Team, attended the meeting, stating several arrests had already been made relating to vehicle crime and she pleaded with the public to keep reporting any further incidents.

She was one of a host of guests who popped down to Ashington Community Centre to speak to members.
According to Horsham’s Neighbourhood Watch statistics from the National College of Policing suggest for every 100 crimes 26 are prevented by the presence of having a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme. Deputy Chair of Horsham District Council, Kate Robottom, joined Inspector Leadbeatter in praising the Horsham team for its hard work.
