Horror road smash
Firefighters said if the youngsters has not been securely fastened in child seats they could have been seriously injured in the accident.
Specialist cutting equipment was used to free the adults.
Everyone involved was taken to Worthing Hospital for a precautionary check-up but nobody suffered serious injuries.

Hide AdThe youngsters were comforted by people in a nearby house who took care of them until paramedics arrived.
Roy Barraclough, district commander at Worthing fire station, said: "Fortunately the children were all strapped in child seats and were wearing seat belts which almost certainly prevented them from being seriously injured.
"This highlights the importance of correctly securing children in your vehicle at all times for all journeys."
The crash happened at around 11.20am.
