Holiday village gets go-ahead for changes

Approval has been granted for plans to improve Church Farm Holiday Village in Pagham.

Councillors backed the proposals to extend and alter the site's main complex.

These will form new entrance features, glazed walkway and alterations within the shop.

The work is planned by the business's owner, Bourne Leisure, as the first stage of 5m worth of works.

Arun District Council's development control committee backed the scheme provided the chairman and vice chairman had a say in the final choice of materials to be used for the work.

The council is also looking into the possibility of protecting three trees at the site's Church Lane entrance.
