More than 300 young dancers descend upon the Alexandra Theatre for a performance event that celebrates the achievements and skills of young hip hop and street dancers from across the region.

Hosted by JP Omari (Strictly Dance Fever 2006) Raise Da Roof will see performances from dancers aged six years to adults.

Founder of T21Dance, Vikkie Steege said: "Events like Raise Da Roof can inspire young dancers to develop and progress their skills, as well as raise the expectations of high-quality street dance emerging from our communities.

"I feel it is important we give credit to the young dancers and celebrate the positive impact that hip hop dance can have on them."
