The scene was set by ‘Just Strings’, a string quartet, playing a variety of live music and coloured co-ordinated balloons.

There was a small raffle, which raised, coincidentally, £122, the new café name.

The owner, Kevin Nye, was overcome with emotion with all the good wishes he received.

Café One22 is open at The Heene, 122 Heene Road Worthing, on a daily basis between Mondays to Saturdays 8.30 am – 5pm.
