Have Your Say about Bexhill

Got some views about Bexhill?

Too quiet, not enough for young people to do? Or maybe you're scared to go out at night, want better communication with neighbours, or have a designated cycle path along the promenade.

If you've any ideas at all, Rother Voluntary Action wants to hear from you as the process to create a Local Action Plan for Bexhill moves steadily forward.

A varied programme of consultation will take place across town in October and November with the aim of involving as many residents or people who work locally as possible.

The idea is to get everyone thinking about those issues which need tackling to make Bexhill an even better place to be.

The series of 'Have Your Say' drop-in events - open to anyone to pop in, ask questions and provide their views - will run as follows:

Mon Oct 19 0930-1230 & 1430-1800 Parkhurst Hall (Central Ward)

Sat Oct 24 0930-1330 St Augustines Church (Collington)

Tue Nov 3 0930-1230 & 1400-1630 Manor Barn (Old Town)

"In addition to these events, the LAP team will also be canvassing opinions in a series of informal "out and about" information gathering sessions at venues such as the library, sports centre, youth clubs, medical centres and care homes.

"A questionnaire will be distributed and collected via the extensive network of community groups, clubs and associations that operate across the town."

Please contact Ian Coleman of RVA if you or a group/club etc you are involved with would like questionnaires at
