Hastings to mark one minute’s silence for Paris

There will a one minute’s silence held in the town centre this morning (Monday, November 16) in memory of the victims of the Paris terror attacks on Friday.

The mark of respect is taking place across Europe at 11am.

All government buildings will be observing the one minute’s silence, including Hastings Borough Council.

Mayor Bruce Dowling will lead a civic party from the town hall at around 10.55am to observe the silence in Queen’s Square, Priory Meadow.
