THIS evening (Friday, December 20) the Hastings and St Leonards RSPB Group welcomes back local naturalist Ian Rumley-Dawson who
will be giving a talk entitled Wildlife of the Welsh Coastline.
Ian will be showing us the birds and other wildlife and the astounding views to be seen from the Pembrokeshire coastal path. The nearby islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm are home to puffins, Manx shearwaters, razorbills and gannets among others.
Last month’s most enjoyable talk was from further away being about the wildlife of the North and South Poles.
The venue is the Taplin Centre, Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards at 7.30pm. Visitors are most welcome for an admission charge of £3 including refreshments.
Anyone interested in further information on the group should visit www.rspb.org.uk/groups/hastings or telephone 751790.
