Hastings and St Leonards RSPB Group

ON Friday, November 15 the Hastings and St Leonards RSPB Group welcomed Ralph and Brenda Todd, experienced lecturers, compared the landscapes and wildlife at the opposite ends of the earth.

At the South Pole there are a variety of penguins, albatrosses and fur seals, while at the North Pole polar bears, ptarmigan, minke whale and walrus are to be seen.

Last month the group about the maintenance of the working estate run by the National Trust at Sissinghurst Castle.
