Amber Rudd won the Conservative People’s Choice Award at the Patchwork Foundation’s MP of the Year Awards at the Houses of Parliament on November 2.

The charity promotes underrepresented communities in politics.

“It is so important that politicians from all parties reach out and engage with all our communities – including those who may not feel they are represented in our politics today,” she said.

Patchwork does a great job in doing this and that is why winning an award from them makes it so much more special.”
